How will my order be shipped?
All UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail tracked 48. Upgrades tracked 24 and special delivery are available at check out.
How long will it take for my order to be dispatched?
All made to order items will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks. All other items will be dispatched within 3-5 business days. If you need anything sooner please get in touch and I will do everything I can to get your order to you ASAP.
How much does UK delivery cost?
Royal Mail 2nd class signed for is £3.99. Royal Mail 1st class signed for is £4.50. Royal Mail Special Delivery is £11.
Do you offering international shipping?
Currently, I do not sell outside the UK.
You do offer free local pick up?
Yes, you can collect your order from Broomhill in the west end of Glasgow. Please contact me ahead of ordering to arrange a suitable date.
Will my order arrive in a gift box?
All RR Designs jewellery (with the exception of single studs) will arrive in a jewellery box without a price so it is ready to give as a gift! Gift wrapping options are also available as an add on here.
Can my order be sent as a gift to the recipient?
Yes, just enter the recipients address at checkout. Gift wrapping options are available as an add on here and an optional gift message can also be added at checkout
What is your jewellery made from?
All RR Designs jewellery is made from sterling silver comprising of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper and is suitable for sensitive skin. Where possible eco sterling silver is used. Read more about the materials used here.
Where is your jewellery made?
All RR Designs jewellery is designed and handmade by me in my Glasgow studio.
Will my jewellery be hallmarked?
Items of sterling silver over 7.78g in the U.K legally need to be hallmarked. Any pieces of jewellery meeting this requirement will be hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office.
How do I care for my jewellery?
When not being worn sterling silver jewellery should be kept in an air tight container or bag. To keep the finish for longer avoid contact with perfume, lotion etc. and if needed clean with a silver polishing cloth. Read more about jewellery care here.
What size of earcuff do I need?
It depends on the size of your ear and where you would like the cuff to sit. These earcuffs come in 3 different sizes to accommodate different shapes and sizes of ears. The model shot shows small ears with the small earcuff on the helix and medium earcuff on the conch. If you would like any help deciding on a size please get in touch!

How do I adjust my earcuff?
Your earcuff should feel secure on your ear but not uncomfortable. They can be gently pinched, closing the gap together or eased apart to open them up. They should be tight enough that you can't pull it straight on and off the conch or helix. It's best to slide it on and off from a thinner part of the ear down to where you want it to sit. I would suggest wearing it around your home until you find the right fit. Once you find a comfortable fit, you should be able to put your earcuff on and off without adjusting.
Do I need jelly backs for my wire earrings?
I recommend wearing jelly backs if you have a scarf on or anything that’s bulky around your neck or if your hair is prone to catching on your earrings. Ultimately it is a personal choice - I never wear them but I do have short hair! Always take your wire earrings out before pulling an item of clothing over your head. When putting your jelly backs on, always support the earring with your other hand. It can help to twist the back as it's pushed on.
